Gulf Coast Renaissance Guild Endorsed

Element is endorsed by the Renaissance Builder & Developer Guild as being representative of its Guiding Principles and Best Practices in Smart Growth. Element has been evaluated by the Gulf Coast Renaissance Corporation, in partnership with the Mississippi State University Community Design Studio, for meeting their strict standards for being an attractive, high quality, energy efficient and sustainable community that offers affordable housing options to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

NAHB Green Silver Certification

Element is Certified Silver under the guidelines set forth in the National Green Building Standard for Homes program developed by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the International Code Council (ICC). Element will be a model for future Gulf Coast building programs by using materials such as steel framing (which is recycled and recyclable), Energy Star products and blown-in Cellulose insulation, along with “green” site design such as managed water runoff and designated green spaces.

EarthCents Program Approved

Element is approved under the guidelines set forth Mississippi Power’s EarthCents Program as being an energy efficient community. The EarthCents Program is designed to help homeowners save money through the reduction of energy consumption through applying energy efficient methods, materials and products throughout the home. Through the EarthCents Program, homeowners are assured a lifetime of energy savings, improved indoor air quality and high quality sustainable construction.
