of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB Green Program), this development
will be an excellent example of responsible and sustainable building practices.
Element will be a model for future building programs in this area by using materials
such as steel framing (which is recycled and recyclable) and blown-in cellulose
insulation, along with green site design such as managed water runoff and designated
green spaces.
Element is designed to be an energy efficient, eco-friendly community that will
reduce the costs of living for its residents through the reduction in energy consumption.
Smart building practices have also been utilized in the design to withstand the
elements of living on the Gulf Coast and further reduce the costs of homeownership.
Each of Element’s townhomes will be certified as green built under the NAHB Green
